WHAT  DOES  TAUKTAE  CYCLONE  MEANS  👀...??

Let us know first of all why does it named Tauktae :-

   So , basically this cyclone was over the east central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea on Saturday. Cyclone Tauktae was named by Myanmar. The cyclone names are given by counties on a rotation basis in the region. 

  Let us also know what is the meaning of Tauktae and how to spell it correctly :-

Tauktae means 'gecko', a highly vocal lizard. A gecko is a lizard known for its distinctive verbalization. 

Often people gets confused how to pronounce Tauktae exactly So , it will pronounced as Tau ' Te 

Now let us also know what destruction did this cyclone had made , for valuable lives and property :-

 This storm has resulted in rainfall in large areas in Lakshadweep Isles, Kerala, parts of Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri and Palghar, with predictions of heavy to very heavy spells in some places and extremely heavy rains in isolated places on further upcoming days .

At least six people have lost their lives in Gujarat, hundreds of houses were damaged, trees and electricity poles were uprooted and as many as 1.5 lakh people are evacuated from the coastal areas. 

Damage report also indicates coastal erosion caused by the rough sea resulting in damage to coastal roads as well. Also in kerla ,four people died due to the cyclone

Also an orange alert has been sounded in Mumbai by the IMD, warning the city of heavy rains at isolated places as Tauktae passes by Mumbai coast. The city has therefore also closed its airport on Monday from 11 am to 2 pm, and had prepared five temporary shelters so that, if needed, citizens can be sifted there.
